Lauren’s love for all things
southern and simplicity comes naturally.
Born and raised in Tallahassee, she has come to appreciate her roots
more than she ever thought possible.
After moving out West right out of high school, Lauren came to realize
her genuine belonging amongst those that use the word y’all.
She is extremely detail oriented
and her God given gift / knack for timeless style always has her friends and
family recruiting her assistance either in their closets, their homes or for
parties. Her classic balance of panache
and grace create the most composed décor for any standard or setting. She is driven by providing old fashioned
customer service to all of her clients and believes that to be crucial in
succeeding. She stays busy with events
and re-designing spaces with stylish charm while day-lighting as a legal
assistant to federal prosecutors. When
catching her breath, she enjoys shopping & antiquing (of course), traveling
anywhere, but is most content on a trip offshore with a fishing pole in hand
and her PIC, Cabela Grace by her side.

Social Media Manager/Events Assistant
Melodie was born and raised in eastern Kentucky and graduated from Florida State in May 2014 with her Communications degree. Her southern upbringing and obsession with organization drew her to the event-planning profession, specifically Simply Southern. Her love for all things southern and knowing that less is always more is how she knew there was no other place she would rather be than learning everything Lauren knows!
When she isn’t on social media or assisting on the event scene, Melodie is working as a Nurse Assistant and attending classes for her nursing degree. She hopes to one day be working as a Pediatric or Labor and Delivery nurse while continuing her work with SSE. Her spare time is spent outdoors and on the road with her boyfriend and pups Lacy and Remington.
